I had a mixed experience at the resort. The location is beautiful, surrounded by wildlife and a soothing river, which I really enjoyed. The accommodations felt quite outdated and the hot water was a bit of a challenge. The staff was friendly, and it was nice waking up to the peacocks roaming around. Overall, while it had charm, there are definitely areas that need improvement.

Rooms

The rooms were a bit cramped, with just enough space for the essentials. There was a bed, a small TV, and a fridge, but I wouldn't call it spacious.
Service

The staff was friendly and very accommodating during my stay. They made an effort to ensure I was comfortable.

The resort is tucked away in a beautiful spot with a river, which provides a wonderful atmosphere to relax and enjoy nature.

The facilities include a common room with a TV and kitchen, but there weren't any provisions provided, which was a bit of a letdown.

The resort offers a unique experience with beautiful grounds and plenty of wildlife, making it immediately captivating. The rooms are nicely decorated and equipped with many amenities, but there were issues with billing and heating that detracted from the overall experience. While there are some wonderful features, it may not be the best value for the price, considering the extra fees and challenges with room comfort.

Our room was nicely decorated with a king bed, fridge, microwave, and a coffeepot, but we had trouble with heating and found a surprise in the final bill.
Service

The service was adequate, but the surprise billing left me confused about the pricing.

The resort has a great set of amenities, including a relaxing atmosphere with lots of deer sightings, but some facilities, like the kids' play area, could use upgrades.

Our stay at the Princeton Castle Resort was quite mixed. On one hand, the cabin we booked was clean and well-maintained, providing a cozy and comfortable retreat. The beautiful grounds and unique features like the stone ruins were enjoyable. On the other hand, we faced significant issues with our RV site, particularly the lack of power and maintenance. Overall, while some aspects were delightful, the experience was marred by these challenges.

Rooms

We stayed in a cozy one-bedroom studio cabin that was clean and well-equipped with a full kitchen. The towels were softer than those found in most hotels.
Service
7.0
The office lady was very friendly and accommodating, offering us options when we encountered the power issue, but communication about site problems could be improved.
Location
9.0
The location is scenic, with the cabin backing onto a creek and the surroundings hosting various wildlife. It’s a short drive to local attractions and charming spots.
Dining
Facilities

The facilities include well-maintained walking paths and scenic spots, but there is room for improvement in terms of garbage management.

I had an amazing experience at this resort, especially since we celebrated my son's birthday there! The check-in process was seamless, and the surroundings were absolutely stunning, but I must mention that there was an unsettling lack of maintenance in the rental cabin and amenities. While the beauty of the location can't be overstated, the facilities need some serious attention given the rates they're charging.

Rooms

The cabin we rented was a bit cramped and not as comfortable as expected. The pull-out couch was broken, and the layout made it awkward to move around.
Service
9.0
The service we received during check-in was exceptional, with complimentary boat rentals and fun costumes offered, but the overall experience was marred by the state of the accommodations.
Location

The resort is nestled in a beautiful area with breathtaking views and wildlife, connecting to trails, which was wonderful for our family gathering.

Facilities

The facilities do have potential, but they're currently underwhelming, with some amenities that require significant renovations.

My stay at Princeton Castle Resort was a mixed bag. The chalet was cozy and clean, which was a positive, but the BBQ situation was disappointing, and I felt charged a bit much for the amenities. The location is lovely next to the castle ruins and the stream, but maintenance is sorely needed in some areas. Overall, it was decent for a quick overnight pass-through, but not quite worth the price for an extended stay.

Rooms

The chalet was clean and well equipped, though the BBQ was dirty, which was a letdown.
Service

The lady at the office was welcoming and friendly, making check-in a breeze.
Location

The resort has a nice location right next to the castle ruins and a stream, which gives it a unique charm.
Dining

I was disappointed to find a dirty charcoal BBQ instead of a gas one, and the cost of charcoal was pretty steep.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities were decent, but maintenance and gardening could certainly use attention.
